These are patients with no structural abnormality and no comorbidities such as diabetes immunocompromised state or pregnancy.

Most urinary infections are confined to the bladder and while causing symptoms are not serious or life threatening. The urinary system is designed to minimise the risk of serious infection in the kidneys. Some women experience them regularly called recurrent UTIs.
