LONDON Dec 22 The British government said that from today it was reducing the Covid-19 self-isolation period to seven days from 10 days for people in England who get a negative result on a lateral flow test two days in a row. The rules mean someone who tests positive on either day six or seven will still be able to end isolation after two negative tests 24 hours apart on the following days. The UK Health Security Agency UKHSA has said that people who have Coronavirus can now take two lateral flow tests to reduce the isolation period.
